Claiming Your Credits

CAPRE programs are in accordance with the requirements outlined in the College of Family Physicians of Canada's Mainpro® – Accreditation of other CME formats . Physicians in all provinces, including Quebec, may claim credit for completing this program.

Each CAPRE program meets the accreditation criteria of The College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for 2.0 Mainpro-C credits. CAPRE programs are accredited until June 17th, 2012.

To obtain your credits for participating in a CAPRE program:

  • Complete and submit the Reflection Exercise and the Program Evaluation;
  • Once you have completed these steps, Queen's University's Office of Continuing Professional Development will e-mail you a Certificate of Participation.
  • You must submit this Certificate to the CFPC and they will then award you 2 Mainpro-C credits.
  • You will also be entitled to one Mainpro-M1 credit for every Mainpro-C credit earned.
